I am Nicole El Beyrouthy, an Adjunct University Instructor, a licensed Educational Psychologist and APO Therapist. I am accredited by the Ministry of Public Health (MOPH), a member of both the Lebanese Order of Psychologists (LOPSY) and the Lebanese Psycho-organic Analysis (ALAPO).
During my specialization I was captivated by the language of feelings, needs, sensation, and family dynamics. This led me to employ techniques such as active listening, relaxation and breathwork, mental imagery, movement, and creative play to observe and gain insights into one’s difficulties. Thus creating a safe place and empathetic connection in order to explore the needs and the emotions and to address unresolved trauma.
My expertise spans across various age groups and my therapeutic work encompasses psychotherapy, counselling and psycho-education addressing challenges such as but not limited to, anxiety, depression, coping skills, trauma, stress reduction, relationship issues and positive parenting.
I am committed to guiding individuals towards self-empathy, inner strength and fulfilling relationships in personal and professional realms. My driving force is believing in the beneficiary’s capacity, force and self-efficacy to cultivate self-awareness, a sense of wellbeing and self-actualization.
